avisualplanet.com approached me to redesign their website for a 2008 relaunch of their online media subscription service. specializing in the non-profit sector, they needed someone who could understand not only their brand and target audience, but someone who could create a design in competition with other stock media sites like photobucket and flickr. thus the project is as much about a re-casting of identity and public image as it is providing a new frontend. the site is set for a late 2008 release.
The MySys project was an initiative pursued by Laureate Education, Inc., to consolidate their student records and e-learning information for the use of students and advisors online. I was brought on as a contractor to design a logo and promotional materials for the MySys system, essentially creating a brand and marketing campaign for an in-house, multi-week training program. Such materials included a logo for MySys, promotional banners for the training hall, computer desktops, and cafeteria tabletops modelled after the trademark green-and-orange cube.
